PhonoPaper - Scan and Play Encoded Sounds
PhonoPaper is a unique camera app that allows you to scan pictures with encoded sounds (PhonoPaper-codes). It also permits you to create your codes by recording ten seconds of sound from a microphone and converting it into an image. The app is available for Android users and is free to download and use.
PhonoPaper codes are analog, so they are not sensitive to various types of image distortion, such as a bad camera, dark picture, or wrinkled paper. The app allows you to play the code in real-time with hand-controlled speed and direction. You can also draw the code by hand to get some unusual sounds.

To use the app, launch it, point the camera at the code, and smoothly scan the picture from left to right while keeping the camera level. If the application recognizes the code markers, you will hear a sound. If you are unable to play the code smoothly, press the record button on the right side of the screen to enable automatic scanning.
